When any emcee link up with DJ Premier, their flow, cadence, and overall "hip-hop" aura enhances. Then there are a few emcees, who mesh together with Premo like peanut butter and jelly.
To name a few, obviously, Guru, but then there's Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, Jeru, M.O.P, KRS-One, Bumpy Knuckles, The Lox, Termanology and Torae who are great with or without DJ Premier. However, when the aforementioned, rhyme over a Premo produced track, it's top tier in hip-hop aesthetics.
Well, in 2022, Griselda's Benny the Butcher is fast becoming one of those top tier hip-hop lacers on a DJ Premier beat. Benny and Premo have linked on several tracks previous to their latest offering.
