During his over 18 years in prison, Donielle Davis accumulated quite a collection of poetry in which he penned. There are many ways to utilize the time spent behind those walls, both good and bad. Davis did both.
However, through the good and the bad, Davis earned a degree from the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore, he became one of the first formally incarcerated inmates in the country to hold a position in the department of public safety and corrections services, amongst many other achievements.
Now, we can add author to that list of achievements. Davis took his collection of poetry and shared them with the world through the form of his first book, "A Compass 2 Find Redemption: A Path Called Straight".
